I've been a licensed Manicurist since 1995 and I truly enjoy my profession. The safety of your health, your comfort, and satisfaction are my primary goals. Rest assured that you are in a clean and sanitary environment. To ensure the health and safety of my clients, I strictly follow the sanitation procedures required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Board. Metal tools are first scrubbed with a brush using soap and water to remove any debris, then soaked in Barbicide (EPA registered hospital grade disinfectant) and allowed to dry, and finally placed into a dry heat sterilizer. Every client receives a new disposable plastic liner in my pedicure bowl, a new disposable emery style foot file for callus removal, and a new disposable nail file & buffer at each visit. I do not use metal callus removers on the feet that look like cheese graters. These remove too much skin, while tearing it at the same time, which will cause your feet to over-produce callus and grow back thicker. Not to mention, your feet do not feel smooth afterward. I also do not use electric files (drills), because I care about the health of your natural nail. My services include pedicures and manicures using Dazzle Dry Nail Polish or OPI Soak-Off Gel Color. I use their polish exclusively and I have 185 colors to choose from. I also purchase most of the latest new colors that arrive every season! If you’ve never used this brand before…you will be addicted after one application! This amazing polish is one of a kind. It dries to a HARD finish in 5-8 minutes with no fear of messing up your fresh polish application. Added bonuses…it stays on way longer than other brands, it’s vegan, non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, and it won’t disrupt your endocrine system. No UV or LED lamp is needed and it can be removed with regular polish remover. I have a special technique for helping it stay on even longer. With this technique your nails will feel super strong, almost as if you have gels on…but without the dreaded soak off. If you do, however, prefer gel polish, I use OPI Soak-Off Gel Color and I have 175 colors to choose from. ** UP-CHARGES: Please be aware that all services have a starting price. No two clients are alike and some take longer than others. Service times listed are approximate and there is an upcharge for any of the following issues that require extra time whether it be on hands or feet: excessive cuticle build up, extreme callus removal, nails trimmed and filed super short, extremely long or jagged nails that need clipped and shaped, ingrown toenail issues that need attention, french polish, using different colors on every nail, super short nails that require extra clean up on skin during polishing, extra long or wide nail beds that require more strokes when polishing, gel polish that takes longer than average to remove (soak off times can vary depending on brand). EXAMPLES OF UP-CHARGES: The essential manicure with dazzle dry polish is typically an average of 65 minutes and $65, but I have a few clients who take as long as two hours for this service and therefore the price would be $80. I also have a few clients who take under the average time, and for these clients I will certainly adjust the price accordingly. My prices are based on a rate of $40 per hour rounded up to the nearest $5 increment, and I do not accept gratuity. Therefore, I cannot afford to lose money on clients who take longer than average due to the above issues. ** MODIFICATIONS: If you would like to modify any services please let me know when you schedule the appointment and I will adjust the price. For example: You might decide to remove the callus reduction segment from a pedicure to save time or money, and do that part yourself at home. Or maybe you would like to add a massage to your essential manicure or pedicure. Please let me know your modification when you schedule an appointment and I will adjust the price accordingly. You cannot show up for an appointment and then decide to modify. The full price will still be charged. ** Pedicure prices include the time it takes to fill the pedicure bowl with water, empty, and disinfect sink afterward. Proper sanitation ensures the safety of everyone’s health. Unfortunately, this step is more time consuming with the extra large stainless pedicure bowl I use versus the pedicure chairs used in most nail salons. ** Please be sure to inform me of any health conditions you may have. Also make me aware of any allergies you may have to foods or skin care products. And let me know if you would prefer unscented products for your services. I will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions. Cancellation Policy

When you schedule an appointment with Mary Daniel, your time is reserved especially for you. Please be aware, reserving a time slot means you acknowledge and agree to the following policies: CANCELLATION AND DOWNGRADE POLICY: Nails by Mary Daniel adheres to a strict 24-hour cancellation and downgrade policy for all service appointments. This policy applies across the board whether booked in person, on the phone, via email or online. If for any reason you miss an appointment, are more than 10 minutes late, or downgrade your service, you will still be responsible for the full-service fee of your originally scheduled appointment. No refunds will be given to cancelled or rescheduled bookings with less than 24 hours notice. Same-day cancellations, service downgrades, and no-shows will be charged the full-service fee of your original scheduled appointment. Please note that cancellations can only be made through texting or calling me personally. I do not accept cancellations by email, direct messaging from Google, or any social media platforms. LATE ARRIVALS: Please allow yourself plenty of time for the possibility of traffic and construction delays. If you think you may be late for your appointment, please text or call to let me know. I will text late clients 10 minutes into their scheduled start time, but if I am unable to contact you, your appointment time will be reopened and/or given away. If you show up late for your appointment, your services may be altered to fit the remaining time or cancelled if the remaining time is not sufficient for any services. If this happens you will still be responsible for the full amount of the services booked. NO SHOWS: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment you will be subject to paying the full amount of the services reserved. SAME DAY RESCHEDULING: If you reschedule an appointment on the same day you scheduled it, you will still be responsible for the full-service fee of your rescheduled appointment. Same-day appointments are final.
